When women buy ESCA makeup, is the reason behind it because of the properties of ESCA makeup? Or is the reason behind purchasing these type of cosmetics is because what it stands for?

To go over briefly once again about what ESCA makeup of essentially is, it is make up that consists of natural minerals that are derivative of the earth. The mineral makeup undergoes a special refining process to ensure the quality and authenticity of the contents of the makeup.

Properties of ESCA Makeup

Now, some people prefer buying ESCA makeup because of its supposed healthful properties (and I only say supposed because I am no expert on the scientific aspects of how or what positive or negative effects ESCA makeup has on our skin). These natural cosmetics are said to be healthy for our complexion and skin because of deriving from organic minerals. With the threat of unnatural chemicals hiding in traditional make up, as well as every other general product that can be bought, being unhealthy for our bodies, people are very much health conscious because they want to look and feel as youthful as they can. I do believe that this is one reason why many gravitate toward the use of ESCA makeup.

What ESCA Makeup Represents

The properties and representation of ESCA makeup connect to each other so much that perhaps they may even be the same thing. I believe that because ESCA make up it known for its ’supposed’ healthful properties, that it also represents naturalness.

What do I mean by naturalness? Well, it is meant that makeup doesn’t have to be viewed as a cover-up product. Rather, makeup, and ESCA makeup to be more on topic, can be viewed as a means of accentuating and bringing out you and your natural look. There is no reason to think you have to hide behind a facade. Wear ESCA makeup to highlight you, not hide you.

Here is a quick makeup tip on how to add more dimension, or the illusion of it, into your eye area when applying ESCA makeup.

Bare Escentuals bareMinerals Eyecolor line of eye colors and eye shadows offer a huge selection of tones and colors. Not only can you use Eyecolor to create the smoky eyes effect, but you can also use them to add more dimension to your eye area much the same as what bronzers and face color can do for your cheeks and jaw structure. Use a darker color for shadows and a lighter color for highlights. Be creative and experiment with your eye makeup. ESCA makeup is a wonderful cosmetic, so do not be afraid to try new things.

I have brought this out in the makeup tips post on how to create smokey eyes, but I will say this again to add emphasis: To create the perfect canvas on your eyelids, it is always best to apply foundation, preferably mineral makeup foundation in order to make the application of your Eye Colors more amiable and workable. You can blend two, three, or even four colors. Mix, match, and experiment in order to find the best results for you personally.

Makeup tips requests for creating the smokey eyes effect are overwhelming, so we decided to post a short and to-the-point tutorial on exactly what makeup and makeup tools to use to get this trendy look. Yes, you can create smokey eyes with ESCA makeup products.

ESCA Makeup & Makeup Brushes | Tools

You will need the following makeup:

  • Several shades of eyeshadow (preferably 3: a light eyeshadow, a medium eyeshadow, and a dark eyeshadow)
  • An eyeliner that matches your eyeshadow
  • Mascara

You will need the following makeup tools:

  • An eyeshadow applicator
  • An eyeliner brush
  • A mascara applicator (which is typically already provided along with the mascara)

If you haven’t already got these items in your makeup arsenal, here are some ESCA makeup recommendations that I personally use myself. I should note that it is not necessary to use all of the following in order to acquire the smokey eyes effect. Simply pick and choose which ones you love:

Smokey Eyes Tutorial

Here is a smokey eyes tutorial broken down into 6 simple steps:

1. Prepare your eyelids for the smokey eyes tones by applying a foundation primer, foundation, and perhaps even a concealer. While the foundation primer and concealer isn’t absolutely necessary, I highly recommend applying foundation at the least. This will set your eyelids to be a pliable canvas.

2. Using your preferred eye brush (I personally use the BE Eye Defining Brush), apply the medium tone eyeshadow across your eyelids. Applying the medium tone first will help you gauge the overall smokey eyes effect.

3. Using a smaller eye brush such as the BE Tapered Contour Shadow Brush, apply the darker tone eyeshadow to the lower part of your eyelids as well as the corners of your eyelids.

4. Take your preferred eyeliner brush and apply eyeliner to the lower extremity of your eyelids, the bottom of your eyes, and also the creases of your lids. Apply as lightly or darkly as you please according to your personal preference. The eyeliner will add the dramatic factor to the smokey eyes look.

5. Take your lightest tone eyeshadow and apply it to the upper parts of your lids nearest to your eyebrows. You can also blend the light tone on top of your medium tone. Side makeup tip: Using a pearloid, shimmery, or metallic light tone will highly accentuate and highlight the darker colors. Metallic is a popular trend and very fashionable these days.

6. Finish off your smokey eyes by applying mascara to your top and bottom eyelashes

…And there you have it. Don’t be afraid to play around with it, and try out your own techniques. There are several ways to create the smokey eyes effect, so you can also incorporate other methods and ESCA makeup application techniques to come up with your own.
